I've been taking such delight in your descriptions and photos of

the little gnome villages you set up in your garden, but I had no idea your idea had become a big trend - in decorating, no less. I'd picked up a copy of the "Christian Science Monitor" which Harriet drops off at The Center on Tuesdays, and there was a feature story on fairy gardens. It seems the in crowd is taking miniature gingerbread houses and tiny tables & chairs (doll house furniture?) to set up little scenes to surprise visitors both indoors and in outdoor gardens. Your good vibes have been received...

A guy I know has established himself as an artist , I asked him how long it took him to do one of his paintings. He said about twenty minutes. I guess that is his attention span.

So don't belittle your art, it is as always in the eye of the beholder. Look at the paintings being sold for millions. I wonder how long it took to do some of them?

Kabu

Yeah, it's gettin' a bit chilly around here too! Bennie didn't even want to go for his evening walkies, so all we he did pee in the nearest snowdrift and we went home...

You all are having quite the winter there. It is that time of the year when it feels like it is never going to end.

Do you write your name on each one?  Someday "Kabu Rocks" will be famous and worth a fortune, and some descendant of yours will be taking them to Antiques Road Show.

Would you like to go to the Bahamas, Grandmummy?  I'll take you if you like! Your rock art is lovely, as are you.

Winter usually is a time for staying indoors, and getting things done, whether they're creative, or just general chores. Stay warm, and stay creative . . .
