McGill
That smart looking young man looks like he would be very comfortable at McGill.

how exciting, off to college. i will have one more granddaughter to see off to college next year or rather in the fall of this year.
kabu thank you for your support it means so much to me to have someone that has been through this to tellf me that it is ok and will get better. i have to focus on the good in my life and manage that most of the time.....like my granddaughter that has cancer is still in remission. and loving her job as a nurse in the nicu unit at the hospital. and working on her masters. she is an incrediable human being. i think its the nicu unit, she works with sick newborns.
but just wanted to say thank you .

Always fun and exciting starting something new, like school. And besides electrical engineering, he will be learning to be self-sufficient as well, which may be just as important . . .

It's going to be hardest on Mum--She's the one I'd be looking after.
When it was my first, I just wanted to go with her, and I was oh so envious she was going into such adventures, I wanted to sign up for classes, too, and be a student again. And when it was Charlie... well... you see what happened!
I wish her all happiness and content, and sympathy.

Sounds like his mom has given him good house training and he will
eventually pick up, especially if he has roommates who are slobs. Cute guy, no doubt he'll have to contend with the complications of romance along with the scholastic load.

A good trade to get into, history and art always seem the favorite and then one can get a job in a library 15K poorer the same job one had before. Looks a nice lad a good job he has not to go and fight. What a waste of young lives the same age.

Good post and obvious you care for the grandchildren immensely and it's nice that you can take the time and be with them every year.
