Great Aussies
I'm waiting for you to write about great Aussies like Steve Irwin, and AC/DC.

I don't blame you. I think, on such a long flight, I too would probably just want to be left alone, and possibly sleep . . .

Even flights to Europe are too long and boring - but they do usually have some semi-decent scotch on board... (I know that's not the right glass for scotch, but Blogit is too cheap to give us a proper one!)

The best thing when flying is to become friend with the one sitting next to you or the trip of many hours will become endless. Even though it doesn't work all the time.

That is one long flight there...Like you, I am not one of those people who can become fast friends with other passengers.

That's a wonderful description of the flight and the sense of time

How strange I can't put a comment on Wiley's blog ,but I can on this one. I hope this is not sex discrimination.

Probably how I would like to travel and wake up when the destination was solid ground again. Pity there is not a tube train straight through the earth, there is no up and down really but I think it would look like it somehow. Site seems to be playing up or it might be my computer as the phones are not working.

Very good post. Described so well. It does feel that way flying over the ocean.

Are you going back??? Your Martin should feel honoured to have been named after a man of peace. Give them my love when you speak again.
