I was just thinking of packing up a bunch of the same sort of stuff and donating it to The Salvation Army for resale when my Sis took a turn for the worse.  Now it is waiting until the funeral is all over and things have settled down.  The tought of extra space is an enticing one and there is so much we never use here.

It sounds like you are making a lot of progress on uncluttering...That is a great idea for who to give the china away to.

🗽When I lived, and then owned, the family home, I loved to sit and snack on the patio, in the garden, among the flowers and vegetables that I grew from seed, shrubs, and vines, with garden ornaments. And the recreation room was artful décor that I synchronized with the music on my CD changer. My programming, with a keyboard, of the CD changer led to the Musicana soundtrack on my blogs today love.BC-A,,Bill’s .R🍒st

Yeah, it's amazing sometimes how quickly things can 'clutter.' When my wife and I first got married, she had a lot of things and I had a lot of things. And when they meshed, well, there's some of your clutter! Fortunately, we sorted through much of it, and are very content now with everything we have . . .

I have the habbit of giving my things away even though they are still in very good conditions. Giving is such a joy.

Next summer you can hold yard sales, where you can sell all the stuff you have acquired in previous summers...

Yes I wish I could un-clutter my clothes but I love them so much even with holes and stains on them. I might throw away an old pair of pants or use them as a duster that would be economical.

Sometimes open space is just worth more than stuff

and it's faster to dust.
