I have a Rudolph in my family ancestry. He lived in Bohemia, was Czech, and I don't think he was Red. It was way before Russia took over for a time. Like my Grandpa Jelinek (same last name) he was probably raised Catholic and turned Atheist. I'm not sure if he knew rain, had a "dear" or anything else other than that he was King of plum Slivovice.
