As long as you can play the good old movies on your TV, as long
as the cocoa and marshmallows holds out, the day can be as cozy as you want it. Happy New Year, dear Kabu.
p.s. Someone sent me some fine Merino yarn - which is now a cozy hat and scarf. It's all rainbow colors, and even though the scarf's not long, it's enough to keep the chill from creeping inside the collar.

Do you have goldfinches or chaffinches or blackbirds. We are sometimes plagued with starlings they come down in a group and fight over everything thats going. Since the refuse pit no longer accepts food waste the sea gulls have moved into town and clear up the messes left by the late night varmints so I guess they do a a bit of community work. Pretty cold here it went down to 7c at Benson airfield which is more or less the center of the country. Keep your hat on.

Makes one long for the beaches of Wagga Wagga, doesn't it? Oh, wait! There are no beaches at Wagga Wagga - so you might as well stick around here...

We have not seen that much snow in Maryland, and what has been seen was not significant. I wonder when the first significant snow is coming.
I can just imagine those crows sneaking around when you not outside.
