sadly we impose as well... even during the inquisition when anyone suspected of not being christian was tortured, put to death, accused of witchcraft...christians forced their ways on others including even the way people dress as well...does this mean I condone it? No, I don't.

scary Posy and it is up to us to live as we always live and try to educate women under such authority to stand up for their basic human rights. To let people know that the garb they are hidden behind is not a thing of beaut but a symbol of suppression

That's interesting would lead you back here to Blogit. It is a shame how there are people in the world trying to impose their values on others. In America, I feel that is a big problem with Congress.

Propaganda, in its many forms, has been a powerful tool that certain groups have been using for years! However, sometimes people forget they have their own powerful tool inside of them called free-will. Yes, I know that the same groups perpetrating this propaganda are trying to suppress people's sense of free-will, but when it comes to just seeing certain images, it should be fairly easy to simply say "No, that's not for me," and move on. People can be so easily influenced these days, but it doesn't have to be that way . . .

That's kind of scary - the woman haters are learning the advertising game.
How would I look in one of those things? Stupid, that's how.

Well, I am very flattered! And it's extremely gratifying to me that I have made a difference and helped open eyes! There are times when tepid non-response makes me ask myself 'What's the point?' But you have given me fresh incentive - thanks!

And to TAPS: There are many others out there, TAPS, but their voices are being ignored and even suppressed by the media, though I have made a point of getting to know them. I am 'one of a kind' only in Blogitville, LOL...

A very interesting post you have written here. I think that Naut must be one of a kind. I've never known anyone else that has a mission such as he has assumed.
