That is one thing we do not have around here. I've never heard wolves in the wild--coyotes, yes, but not wolves. That is a great haiku. Do some more.

Wolves are such majestic, beautiful creatures. Their calls are often mournful sounding, but I love them.

Maybe it's the season's turn, the early dark that falls each day,
Maybe it's the surprise of snow that turns your thoughts this way,
when wolf songs - basic conversation and spiritual song
waken ancient knowing of nature's ways, freedom for which we long.
