an interesting story. it leaves me wondering if it was based on a true story. it seems to have all the twists and turns that real life has, but short stories seem to be told faster at the end and leave me wondering what eventually happened.
now i know nothing about writing so maybe you could tell me, the first of a short story seems to introduce you to the characters, so much so that you keep reading because you feel you know them. then it seems to me that the wrilter suddendly looks at the time and decides he has to wind it up, so alot of info or story comes out, then it is the end and you are wondering what happened to them.
did he not like her enough to visit her at her uncles, or was it just a one night stand? and funny he was going to propose to a woman that was not , it sounded, that into him? was it just because she was a successful business woman? so many questions. and maybe a short story is not supose to answer them all?

The main thing is finding a subject that interests the most bloggers. Stories do not rate much on here because it is a job to comment on them probably.

He who was a she needed the comfort that night. What a wonderful read this is. The work that you have put here on Blogit is truly a book or two poems and stories. I remember when you first came here you were writing a marvelous crazy Science fiction piece that left me feeling like i had fallen down the tunnel with the white rabbit or wandered into the studio where the Goon Show was being taped. Fabulous work.
