Writing will come.  It is not in you to not do it.  (did that make sense?)

I thought I smelled hyacinths yesterday love. It was dianthus, in the wind.

Hey, when you're resting from such an injury, sometimes it's hard to get the motors going. Give yourself a little more time. And that looks like something a couple of our cats may do . . . if we let them . . .

There is always reading...you can download free a program from amazon to read ebooks...amazon has lots of free books as well...

you could stand on your head

meditate

look around at all the work to do and sit back smiling saying...no can do!

Once I passed a field it had been ploughed and it was full of pebbles

don't you have any round your way I dug a nice one up yesterday.

I might start pebble painting, but then I might be in competition

and that would not be fair. Are you sure your toe is healing?

If you could post a picture of it we could view its progress or take bets.

I don't think it is going to grow back in just a week, can you give any

odds on that?  My brother once saw a large stone by a gate in the country

it appeared to have been dumped there. He brought it home and there is the imprint

of a foot in the rock. Pity there had not been a ancient shoe as well.

I just want to snuggle that kitty!

My most recent addiction is beading (jewelry making), my problem is I don't have the time to sit still long enough and I need to get to work on Christmas gifts SOON!  It seems my family just got MUCH larger.

Maybe you could Google National Public Radio - and look up

how to contact them. NPR does a regular feature called "All Things Considered" and they do book reviews, interviews with authors. They like human interest stories like yours and Wiley's, and if they talk about your book on NPR, there will be any number of folks who will order a copy.

They might even feature your story on the TED Radio Hour.  TED = Technology Entertainment (or is that Education?) Design.  If you haven't heard of the TED talks, they are on a wide range of topics, like we have on Blogit, features about art, music, writing, people working for bettering the world, etc...

Waiting with baited breath for your next book! I'll buy it...just think of the royalties. If only Bo had a credit card. ...should I get him one? Blah!

Cheer up Grandmummy...you have us to keep you company.  Take the Tylenol, it'll make you feel better.  Your toe will be healed up before you can say boo.

Hopefully, you will be posting photos of the rocks you paint for us to see...I used to get writer's procrastination when I had to write papers for school.
