You poor thing.  I did that once a long time ago (not a saw blade though) and it hurt so bad!

Ouch!

Well, at least you didn't lose the toe...

I'm glad it's not worse

but a broken toe is miserable.

Kabu

Really sorry to hear about your toe - I hope things will heal soon! I know what it's like - it's happened to me on occasion and it's a bitch all around. Of course I didn't have your advantage - I didn't have a broom to ride on...

So sorry to hear that but aren't you glad for all that medical training you had?  Take care and stay off your feet!

I'm so sorry that happened! There must be something going around! Both my wife and my mom had 'nasty accidents' recently too! Hopefully you didn't do too much damage, and will heal quickly . . .

I went through a season of breaking bones that couldn't be casted.

Toes and fingers... well, maybe. But coccyx--sat down really hard on someone's over-carpeted stairs! I just hobbled along and knew for sure it had been broken because it hurt for 6 weeks, and then didn't.  (I have heard of having your butt in a sling, but that didn't work.  I kept it mostly in a chair.)

Funny how painful and miserable a slight injury is to a toe or finger.

I hope you're able to get some sleep, and I think CCT may be on to something - seeing a doctor could be a good thing if it doesn't mend quickly.

That is toe bad. You poor thing. But what a silly lifting big things off a wall. A good job you have been a ---witch, I MEAN A NURSE. I would have chopped my toe off and kept it in a jar of formaldehyde. But then I have such pretty toes with big black nails. Keep eating the ice cream it takes a while to reach your toes. Sometimes it is nice when folk do not reply to comments. Nevertheless if it looks dodgy go straight the Doctors I think you are being a bit complacent.

And that sooo hurts when the toe is damaged! Dear Kabu, please do not venture into places that have thingies to fall on you....
