Being from Delaware originally, I grew up crabbing and eating fresh seafood. I love shrimp, carb and fresh cod. Clams, oysters, squid, octopus, and other squiggly things are not something that I consider food. I would have bitched about be served clams over shrimp as well. They are as different as apples and oranges, seafood lover or not.

I can't really relate to the mix up between the shrimp and the clams ( since I don't eat seafood ), but I can relate to a restuarant or diner screwing up someone's order. No, they never make the customer pay for such a mistake. At least, they're really not supposed to . . .
