so glad wiley is ok, and yes sometimes we need to bite the bullet and get the more expensive one. my youngest son went shopping for a new pair of jeans and picked out some levi's and then saw sears brand for half the price and after he tried both on i asked which he liked the best and he said the levi's were more comfortable, but, the others were half the price......i gave him a bit of advice. i said if you buy the cheaper ones you will not wear them as often and will be sad you bought them....the more expensive ones will end up being cheaper because you will wear them out. he bought the levi's and i hope he remembers the advice.

yeah. my nephews are fixing to go big time as a band..go to you tube and look up..TC Fambro and the copperheads.. if ya like good old country music, you'll love em..thanks for all the kudos on my writing, but am now writing full time for TC ..Their new album ( I hope) will have 2 of mine on their..I told'em..I don't want a bunch of money, but just want to live on musically after I'm gone..not quite immortality, but as close as I'll ever get .....lol ...G'nite ya'll Ray

Yes you cannot beat a solid box I foot high. All those metal ladders are for youngsters to say the least. Good job when it is finished.

That store manager was both kind and smart. He no doubt saw that
Wiley's a guy who - when treated well - will be back to buy hand tools as the need arises. And it's so heartening to see someone take responsibility and make amends...

Well that's good to know! But, like with anything else, things made 60 or 70 years ago were made well and made to last. Now, everything is mass-produced and pumped out so quickly with little regard to quality or safety! Glad Sir Wiley is recuperating nicely. By the way, I believe either step or rung is acceptable . . .
