I love the comedic scramble the young use today for brains. I do not want to take off on this; they would never understand life from the elderly point of view. They have been spoiled all their lives.

As for the idiots who believe the elderly are living high on the hog at their expense, I hear that BS from folks who seem to think old ladies are too polite to remind them we worked our asses off for fifty years to pay into the retirement fund. Nor do they know we're thinking - even if we don't say it - just wait until you get where we are with all the aches and ailments, and get to watch all that hard-earned money go for prescriptions...

Great post. That person complaining about old people having all the money must not know very many old people. And, I personally don't know any of the rich ones.

It is very tough to be a senior citizen because of fixed incomes and the like. I do not understand why there are people who feel senior citizens are spoiled. I am glad that magazine after publishing that article gave the senior citizen side some magazine space to rebut.
