It certainly does not surprise me that you are up to the challenges of the business. You have such a desire to do well in the family business. I hope your father does well really quickly and will delay the surgury a bit at least until all the bugs are out of his system. Be blessed. He has our prayers.

Yes as Naut says It might be delayed. Although once when I had to go in for a minor op.
I was sweating blood because I thought I might have a cold. When I got there the nurses where coughing like billy-o.

All the best to your Dad! It occurs to me they may defer the hip replacement until he's got rid of the 'bug' - I don't think they'll do surgery while he's sick, at least they shouldn't...And the weather here too is like October, and I hate it...
