Re: FSI

Well I hope a fish did not swallow one of them. I never liked the idea.

i had astigmatism in both eyes....basically i was so bad off at first that I couldn't read the chart....not even the big E!  I went through therapy where they reshaped my cornea....it was great as long as i faithfully wore my contacts...but sloth took over and with pregnancy i started wearing glasses again....my vision started once again going back to what it was....long story short....i had lasik surgery...and i love it!

Glasses are trouble enough, I never gave contacts a thought so I'm happy you got sorted out.

I would have been frightened.

My wife wears contacts once in a blue moon, and she too usually laments over the difficulty of getting them in or out. I only wear glasses to read, so I would never even think about getting contacts! A friend of mine wears them all the time, and swears he never has a problem getting them in or out. I don't know; they do seem like such a hassle . . .

Re: Naut

Dr. Klimt felt that contacts had a better chance of completely correcting the problem. Eventually, glasses ended up becoming the solution, which I will be getting to in this series.

Ouch, flushed them down the Loo, that's a pretty conclusive arrangement. perhaps they were the wrong type of contacts. I am sympathetic, I am always proud of the way my DIL manages hers and now my Granddaughter.

I'm just wondering - if contacts are such a hassle, wouldn't glasses work just as well?
