I do that sort of thing daily. Yesterday I put the cereal in the refrigerator and milk on top. Very descriptive event! I enjoyed it.

I think my brain has filled up with the obsolete and irrelevant stuff
that has filled my life, and there is not much room for more.

I think we always have had more stuff to keep track of than we could.
It's just that when we're young we're so used to learning new stuff and needing reminders, it's part of the deal. I think the getting distracted and forgetting something now and then is part of the learning process that's part of human nature.

I imagine you could fill a lot of book volumes with all the experiences you had when you a nurse...I am pretty good at memorizing what I need from the store and knowing what I will be spending.

I love this post. Those little ladies I am sure were cute as can be. They amaze me. I know what you mean I now write on the ref list board. I never used to write anything down and never forget anything. I believe we know so much now our brain has to shift things around at times to make room for all the new information. At least it is my story and I am sticking to it, even if proven wrong. That is the way my closets get until I have a big give-away.
