Yeah, singing comes from inside. If a person doesn't feel it come from within, perhaps the "joy" of singing is not real.

I used to sing around the house to chase away the blues. I could carry

a tune then, but the old vocal chords are a bit raspy nowadays. Still, sometimes when one of the old ballads comes on, I'll sing along.

i love to sing in the shower ....

I grew up in the methodist Church where songs were always sung with great gusto and joy...I miss that service of song.
