Nice poem..! I've been waiting for a fly to find the open window again and leave by the way it came in - perhaps I should have gone for the spray but it's more fun reading on blogit this afternoon.

Amusing poem - nothing ass much fun as ditties on the fly (pun intended). Days like that one are to be enjoyed - can't think of a better way to spend one than wth a good book.

his little Dittys come so quick and easy and are such fun to read.
No fly swat here, Mr. Graysome takes care of all such problems.
and in such heat all one can really do is sleep...remember all those years when we longed to do that and couldn't?? all those way too busy years that made life fly by.

It is interesting to see your son revealing his talent at last. He is a snappy thinker.

Re: Your son's verses remind me so much of the work of Ethan Coen,
I'll definitely be telling him that. He will get a large charge out of that. (He loved Fargo and Raising Arizona, etc.)

Your son's verses remind me so much of the work of Ethan Coen,
one of the famous movie writer/director/producer brothers. Funny, apt, and well done. The weather front got me yesterday afternoon as well. Drowsy, disinterested, stalled.

The only two things certain in life is change of weather and Blogit love.
