Here is a thought....
For years I stressed over everything. I still stress a bit from time to time but when I realized that stress/worry changes NOTHING and does nothing to make it better, I started making a point of living by faith. Faith in whatever you believe in. What happened was this: I resolve issues quicker, easier and often better. Because I am clear headed and am able to figure out ways to work through things. Sounds trite I know but it truly works.

some stress is good they do say that without a certain amount of stress we would die for we need to kick start the hormones in our bodies, but too much stress and not learning how to manage the stress and reduce it is a killer.

A troublesome condition! And being asked about the Cold War in Southern Africa would stress me too - all I know about it is that it was pretty hot in Southern Africa even during the Cold War, LOL...
