Re: Re: Re: Ciel
I thought they might, a bit of tender care, I do not grow nasturtiums although my mother always did. If we have a mild winter they get smothered with black-fly. My sister gave me two African Violets she could not get them to grow. I have one place in the house that suits them and they are beginning to flower. Hope the sunflowers do not push the planks up.

Re: Pat..
Cheers Pat, we all have regrets, but it could have been worse. I suppose we did not think we would still be around, which is nice because we can be normal at last. Yes the poem seen through young eyes methinks.

Re: Re: Ciel
The two plants most on the way to becoming hay have come back nicely. I have pretty much given up hope for the peas. The birdseed that has sprouted between the planks of the decking is flourishing. And one of the nasturtiums has three bright orange flowers.
Be nice to you.

The lucky aspect of all this regretful cogitation is that you've still got
your mental capacity and your conscience is still working very well. Water under the bridge, now, and maybe the education was worth the price... (won't make that mistake again now that I can recognize the signs) What a lush poem. Oh, my!

Re: Kabu
I don't know about when one gets older Kabu . I think women are more able to forget things and make the best of life. Perhaps men were once subject to more danger and cannot let things rest. Yes it does seem though that some don't bother to learn parenting any longer. Be happy.

Adnohr:
Thank you Adnohr. I suppose we have evolved over time to try to reason, not very well though in dreams. I can't say I have ever found a solution to a problem in that state. More like reminders of hidden anger that one did not feel at the time. Well there was always that little piggy in the sty. I suppose we would not like to eat it now.

Yes one needs something to warm the cockles of the heart. They had some funny old sayings in times of yore. I probably mean't cruel to myself. Dahlia indeed. How are the plants? Recovering I hope.

Love the flower, and love that poem! I imagine you are right about "losing sleep', and am wondering if some of it could be subconscious..like it being there but the person not quite aware what exactly it is.... My granny would never throw out food.

One of the worst things that make for sleepless nights
is apart from the obvious, grief etc. Indeed, that is one to remember Bro.
The inability to make a decision when two options neither
of them pleasant dominate ones mind. Difficut indeedy.
Perhaps you have never been affected like that and can
decide with out trawling through the good and bad of the
decisions open to you. I trawl through everything and make it worse.
I imagine going through a divorce must be near that point
for some people , weighing up the pros and cons as ones
partner lies beside one. After 20 years we or I just did it, told her and she was content as heck but of course couldn't say so.
What is this to do with gardening, you may ask.
Nothing really, I was just thinking how I had to make
a cruel decision once, and probably chose the cruellest.
Poor old Arthur was in a quandary one of his toilets kept
overflowing, he had to turn the mains water off and empty the
feeder tank in the loft. I told him he should have climbed up
into the loft and tied the ball valve up to cut the water supply
off. He looked at me sadly. The trouble is there are not many around
who will volunteer for loft work at a given notice.
I hope he has insurance, I have it seems expensive ,but if things
go wrong , it gets sorted with out any fuss. Talk him into that insurance Bro.
We have been forecast a hurricane , well the end of one on Sunday
I started picking the apples as some were falling . Half of them have
been affected by the moth although I had a trap with hormone to lure
them away from the apples. MOTHS? Blimey the things I learn here but thank God I'm not a grower, gardner, I don't tak notice Kabu does. Some folk do not take any notice and will
just cut around the little tunnel which the grub makes to escape and fall
into the grass to complete the cycle. Of course one never sees it in shop
apples as they have been sprayed to eliminated all low life.
I think the very mild winter probably allowed more chrysalises to hatch
and a dearth of starlings who peck many grubs from the soil. I think there ought to be special policing for that Bro.!!!!
I bet your Granny would not have thrown the apples away. We threw Granny away.-;)
Clues.
I want the soft wetness of your body
The witches brew, the warmth you stew
Into the creamy fullness of the breast. Oh my God I'm off, KABUIEPIE WHERE ARE YOU???
The moisture that drips down like honey
into such sweetness should a mouth be pressed? Pressed???? Damn eh Bro.
Awareness slips creaming into my mind
Reminding me of all tastes possible
And yet of a kind that only you can give.
I hunger for that. I find reasons to be true Is it alcoholic please???
I dip my finger in small pools of thought
And feel the taste of you. If all you needed was your darn mind give up Bro.
Grand work I must say old chap!!!!!

Oh there appears so much work for you and a small force. You need lots of people to cover all those things you busy yourself with. Be careful, not you need a little pig to eat the apples you can't use.
