when i started working for my dad in the 60s i had to work 12 hours and anything less than that per day resulted in nothing....12 or more got me the same you were paid

Well I don't think I ever got paid at all for helping my father until I left school. I never thought about it. Mind I never got much after I left.

I guess your grandmother was trying to make things fair, while at the same time imparting her own sense of being frugal. And you were 9 in 1994? That's amazing to me! Whenever someone mentions June of '94, the first thing that usually comes to mind for me is, that's when my Rangers won their last Stanley Cup ( June 14th ). Where were you . . . ?
