HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!
My chorus teacher, Mrs. Ulmer, used to make us sing that dreaded MIGHTY MOUSE theme song every day for our warm ups, Grandmummy. I bloody hate that song and I even more bloody hate that wretched little rodent!
It was fun to think back to those warm ups, though. As for golf going broke...I truly wish I could say I was heart broken over this fact...but I'm not...

Kabu
Maybe those golf courses could be turned into gardening plots! Something like the old 'victory gardens' of WWII...

Golf is the game of another generation.
Ours is rock-climbing and bungee-jumping, and sky-diving.

Golf: a good walk spoiled.
Might have been Mark Twain who said that, a wise man whoever it was. The green outdoors is nice when it's not too hot and the 'skeeters are quiet, wading in a shallow creek is pleasant, sitting quietly in a shady glen is a balm to the soul. But golf? Not so much.
