Well unlike you dearie I am glad when the damn thing is down. But but you see I have this little baby one that never goes wrong. I shouldn't think you can get a hot spot near your house though. I can't understand how things grow in your climate so quickly. Do you use Gnome pee as a fertilizer?

When the Internet is out of service, I feel like the bee who keeps coming back to the hive that is no longer there, hoping that somehow, someway things have changed. Even though I first used the Internet at twelve years of age, I find myself thinking, "How did we manage without it?"...A cute little poem you got there.

Well, I don't necessarily feel 'naked' when I lose my internet connection, but rather helpless. It's like driving along somewhere and then suddenly running out of gas. It's more of a 'temporary inconvenience' than anything else . . .

The internet is a mighty splendored thing at times, and

a frustration beyond endurance at others. Very like a sentient being.

kabu

sounds very busy your way.  and yes, we have all felt very disconnected when the net goes down, wonder if snail mail will ever come back, then excitement and anticipation when the mail man arrives, and i wonder how long there will be such a thing as a mail man.  .

take care
