Re: Sirenayla
No candles, just cuddles with a pesky cat who owns us sleeping on our feet and if we move he pounces.

Re: Jimmy A
I am sure you are after Sandy...that was a terrifying time for everyone and never to be forgotten. We were on Toronto and left at 2.00am in the morning to outrun it as it headed North.

LOL Wiley!
That storm sounds both frightening and beautiful at the same time. I sure wouldn't have wanted to be out in it, but snug and dry in the house sounds nice.
And if the power went out, no internet, but always a chance to light candles and live like they did in the days when the Little Folk weren't just someone's Avalon myth! LOL!

Yes, my wife and I are deathly afraid of high winds now too, especially after Sandy! Hope the power stayed on! And hey, plumbers can have a sense of humor too! Just look at what they charge . . .

The workman probably thought Wiley was joking all along...
And maybe he was. I hope by this morning you're having sunshine and pleasant weather, and that the gnomes managed to find their umbrellas before the rain started.

No fun it is to get awakened early...You and Wiley handled it well, though.
