Justi, this is lovely. God rest his sweet soul. I hope he and his love are running free and young together under the Lord's loving gaze. Rest peacefully, LD.

Justi, that's the one thing I hated about singing at the nursing home one Saturday per month. You miss them and it never gets any easier.

It's really hard to lose them isn't it.

Clearly he was a good man, and too modest to let it be known...

what a lovely Post you have written re this dear Man. 101 is such a grand age, and when one thinks of being born before the first World war and what he lived to see; so many changes in a changing world. Yes you will miss his sweet smile.

He sounds like a very nice person, one that will probably be missed by many. You're probably richer for having known him. R.I.P. indeed . . .

A wonderful tribute to him. He lived a long life there.

Thank you for this comment. Youth gangs are such a tragedy in so many ways. God bless you.

Justi

A member of the congregation, a senior man that lost his wife. At her funeral, he told me about how wonderful it was for her now with our loving God. At the old lower cost church functions for everyone, he was friends with a senior woman that wrote poems to other members, including myself. They glorified the Lord. She passed away as well. But the senior man, an Irishman died after a being hospitalized for a while from injuries obtained in front of his house. He was mugged by a youth gang. So that’s the generation that passed away, leaving the newer club members, church tee shirts and all love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

May his soul rest in peace.Life is a strange journey of first an active and then a passive phase woven together.
