I love you and your dear George...what a great post and what a great idea he had. LOL
I finally went on FB because son #1 begged me to but I keep it private and actually I post something like Australian pictures or animals being cute...no pictures of me, nothing of my private life and I am very careful who I let see and who I share with. It is good to be able to sneak into the grandchildren's page and have a peek!!!

It amazes me , people will tell the world and yet not tell those nearest to one. I was lured onto Linkedon and they must have gone through my contacts somehow and contacted a lot of Blogit members on my behalf. George had the right idea.

To add my bit to what has already been said about Facebook ....the check in option....why should the world be informed instantly about which airport or city you are in at any given moment.A display screen to say the least.

All I know about Facebook is that I don't wanna be on it, and never will be, and I concur with you completely! And you didn't by any chance put my 'Naut's View' blog on there to scare people off, did you? I know it scares a lot of people right here, LOL...

I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no interest in Facebook whatsoever either. There are very few people in my life that I would even worry about trading 'life stories' with, and I already do, via phone calls and e-mails. I feel no need at all to share my trials and tribulations with the entire world! And anyone who feels no qualms using these 'social media' venues have obviously never read George Orwell's book "1984." They'll just have to learn the hard way . . .

FaceBook is a drag. I use it only to keep up with all of my younger relatives because they are there. But, in order to read them or see their pictures, i have to wade through horrible amounts of gross stuff in which I have no interest.
