That looks like a perfect day. We too have light rain and cool breeze (unusual for this month here) so let's enjoy it while it lasts.☔

After looking at fifteen minutes of the day's news on TV I wonder

if the world's gone crazy - the unbelievable heartlessness is at times overwhelming. And then I come to your blog and the joy you've brought to Camelot North and Blogit just wraps around me like a sunbeam and I realize there are more angels than devils in this world, and this lets us focus on gentle rain and finding some everyday wonder to be thankful for.

Got the book yesterday and read it through. It was harsh times and folk forget very quickly. I was sorry poor Tom lost his leg, I suppose things like that happened and he was lucky to survive. As a rule I skip most of the books as a lot of stuff is a filler.

I read yours from top to bottom and honestly it was better than I thought it might be.One thing I wondered was why young Tom never found the stash of jewels that Old Tom Ugly had hidden from the robbery. Perhaps subconsciously you left it hidden for a sequel . Although rather gruesome at times it it not detract from reality. I guess the underdogs always get trodden on, although some prominent people may have a deeper history. I shall hold my Marino  blanket with more respect I think it will last forever.

It is a book that I shall read again one day just to feel the history of the country and as I told you once my Grampy's  brother left his fortune to a native much to the chagrin of my great aunt. I was only a boy and I could not glean much as folk were secretive in those days. If I were Wiley I would be proud of you one of the better books I have enjoyed reading.

I saw the most beautiful yard today filled with iris of every color.  A whole yard of iris in full bloom.  I'm not sure how one pluralizes iris.  LOL.  But you know what I mean.  Isn't spring wonderful.

We had a brief, five minute rain today in the Baltimore Area. It was one of those blink andd you miss it sort of deals.

That's what the Navajo call a female rain:

gentle and persistant.
