Science without a moral base is rape. It isn't science. So what we have had in the past century isn't even close to science, with notable exceptions in Einstein and a few others.
Science has been perverted utterly by capitalism. A science that dreams up the nuclear weapon, a science that doctors tobacco research, a science that peers into ways to create a "genetic bomb" (Emperor Bush's new wet dream), a science that allows starvation--even though this problem is completely solvable--is beyond evil, and needs to be destroyed.
It's a simple choice: choose life, or choose extinction. Our species appears to be choosing extinction. Very sad.
