Kabu

We have wild turkey in the woods just to the north of us, where I go with Ben. I haven't been there yet this year, but I hope we'll be able to go again soon, maybe in June or July, when the temp rises a bit above 0C, which we had again last night...

A lot of things are going on in your backyard, I see...I do not recall ever having seen a wild turkey in person...Crows are unique animals. They are fun to watch.

Sometimes we see herds of turkeys walking along the outer

fringes of the woods on the college campus and even up toward town. Sometimes we see them among the grazing deer along the hiking trails.

We have rooks in the cemetery they scream and chase a big bird away  most days but I don't think it eats live prey, more of a road side scavenger. I just can't think of its name it has been introduced recently. But as the girl said 'I don't  need to know your name. I accept your proposal. I wish you lived near I could give you loads of plants . RED Kite.

I always enjoy reading your stories about your yard and home. I feel like I know you and your interesting gang way up there in Canada. Thanks for all the effort you put into writing posts each day. I always look forward to them in the evening. You've made my life a little happier.

A few years ago I was traveling through West Virginia

I stopped at a park overlooking a river, and I heard... gobbling! In the tree tops!

Wild turkeys do fly! and that reminds me of an episode of WKRP...

I'm so happy you have your critters to enjoy Grandmummy.  Wild turkeys are truly exquisite birds.  I long for my squirrels to pay another visit.
