It's very windy down here as well, and I wish it would stop! Some of our trees are bending now, and probably can't take much more! And I too wish the world were more like that illustration depicts, but I'll take my Princess any day of the week . . .

I admit it. I'm just too darn lazy to be a halfway decent gardener...
Mama had a garden that belonged on the cover of a magazine, banks of different flowers different colors - tall spikey ones in the back, any number of middle sized blooms and little baby's breath or alyssum (SP?) growing along the border.
Mistress Mary, Quite Contrary, how does your garden grow.
Silver bells and cockle shells and pretty maids all in a row.
Didn't know until years later this verse referred to royal murder...

Sometimes and not very often I suspect, a little miracle occurs. How many doubts must have crossed your mind as you flew into the (unknown). I can see you know and feel your apprehension as you walked towards your future. Of course Wiley only had to look at you and he was a goner. I like miracles.
