Wow! I have a close friend who had a similar diagnosis. I don't recall the exact name of his ailment ( he has terrible asthma, has no sweat glands or pores on his skin, lost all of his hair and teeth by age 18, is allergic to almost everything under the sun, and lives everyday in constant pain and discomfort ). Specialists told his parents many, many years ago that he wouldn't live past 25. He is now 54! Another modern day miracle . . .
