We don't get tree frogs but there are some very cute (and very loud!) blackbirds who start singing at the first glimmer of daybreak .. the joys of rural life, and I wouldn't miss it for worlds.

Believe it or not, with all of the 'critters' we have scattered around our property, we never see ( or hear ) any frogs! I really don't know why . . .

i love frogs to, and we have the little tree frogs here, and when the lights are on in the kitchen they cling to the window as if to see what i am doing.

I do not recall ever having heard a tree frog...I am glad to read that your sister made out well and was able to get on a different flight.

The sound of frogs is a lullaby - as a child on the farm I would fall to sleep to their chorus each night.
What fun for your sis, meeting the kids and sharing the worms!

We have no tree frogs, maybe because many of our trees are gone. But at least it's sunny, and today the last of my backyard glacier melted away! Yep, there is some global warming around here...

Looking forward to that daery lore and sorry about the mix up for Sis. What a shame she had not gone a couple of weeks earlier, I could have helped her. Never mind. Trouble is getting from International to National Terminals. I always think that Sydney is confusing. She will be right now with Son to take care of her....and yes here I have the funny accent and down there, the opposite applies.

Yes of course I want to hear about that little varmint. Our fairies are getting quite worried, I shall have to put wards round Kabu's musty old gnomes. Keep them confined in a dark patch of her garden.

I can vouch for the confusingness of that airport!
It is huge, and directions are not exactly clear, and you can get different answers from different official people to the same question. If you are changing airlines, your baggage has to go through hoops and deep rivers to get from your plane from the US to your plane to wherever else. Mine was especially so, because I was going to another country.
And between flights, of course, all your stuff has to go through customs.
Where did she end up before she got to Melbourne?
