I'm even more north than Naut, so still all covered with snow here - no grass to be seen, just some muck showing here and there in my lane. It's not my mirror that tells me I'm no longer a child (I quit looking into the darned things), but if I try to join the kids and romp and jump and yell, I find the only thing I can do reasonably well is the yelling....

TAPS

All the best to Sis on her trip! And it's nice to know that there's spring somewhere - I still have a patch of ice on my lawn, and there ain't even the hint of a leaf to be seen anywhere...

I guess we feel more sentimental towards our siblings as we age Taps. Old rivalry does not seem to matter so much. You need one of those distorting mirrors that use to be in fair side shows. You will know you look much better than they show.

Beings that I am in Baltimore, I guess I should have driven her.

It is amazing how much the weather and seasonal scenery can change in one day.

It's wonderful to see the flowers: they make me so much happier

than the snow ever did.

Aah, a touch of "Spring fever" I see! That's wonderful. My wife and I are anxious to get outside as well! And I guess being in Kansas puts you smack dab in the middle of the country, close to some things, far from others! Here in Jersey, the only thing we're 'close' to is New York, not necessarily a good thing . . .

TAPS

I am sure your sister will have a good vacation. Yes the flowery, sunny scene is beautiful now. Such a blessing after a long brown winter.
