l it was warm here yesterday and all looked fine early morning, but a milkman told Archie that there was frost on the cars throughout the early hours. Anyway I am leaving some of my experimental flowers for cutting outside in trays to harden off. You want to know what they are? No. Alright they are a tall variety of corn flower, Donald Ducks I can't spell that name , my neighbour calls them that. Baby's breath and love in the mist. They do not seem to like the greenhouse conditions. I have three or four lots to try as I counted the dahlia corms and there were nearly 100.

We are getting some lovely spring weather in Maryland...It can be tough to get the computer and printer in sync.

Last Sunday was the first day in a long time that my wife and I were actually able to go outside, enjoy the weather, and get some yard work done! Yes, we deserve some 70° weather too . . .

Like you I've been longing for warmer weather so that I can get out into my garden... at long last I've been able to have the morning out there, weeding and getting rid of the sedum that spreads everywhere - it was all among the muscari ... and you know how those take root if you happen to drop any of the little bulbs.. smile. The only downside is getting up from the ground after bending!
I'm also thinking about house-sharing so will watch with interest. x

Sounds like a perfect evening, except maybe for that last task which for me would portend of problems.

you are a wonder when you decide to do something. I can't wait to get rid of this cold and get started outside. Our pump is working which means the ground is seeping water, the deep freeze is ending.
