one more thing to be defensive while driving. glad you're dad's okay. i hope she pays a stiff fine and learns her lesson. lots of don't text and wreck commecials on TV these days hopefully it'll help. i doubt it completely though just like drunk driving.

Good for Dad being alright. Here in Ontario it is very costly now to be distracted as they are with texting and cell phones.

Well, this particular topic has been broached before, and needless to say, I'm sure everyone agrees with you! However, as we all also know, stupid is as stupid does, and it's going to be quite difficult to stop these idiots from using their cell phones while driving! However, the bottom line in this particular case is that your dad is okay. Hopefully that woman learned her lesson, but somehow I doubt it . . .
