AThe visitors to your church remind me of a personal issue that I have with my church. A man switched from the Catholic church for a reason that sounds like the experience that I had with Pastor, ministering to my mother. However at my church he can and does promote the activities of the VFW when the Masonic Temple almost served a VA Hospital Thanksgiving dinner there, but church members stepped in (on my mentioning) to do the cooking they ran into costs that they couldn’t afford. A banner of military service people hangs before the front of the church. These examples and the newer member’s fundraising activities in the interest of veterans at the church have interfered with my worship and fellowship where even the coffee’s rationed like in the Army, and I can’t afford to tithe like him. The VFW and Masonic Temple lodge hall can accommodate veteran activities better and supermarkets offer service to the community finely by allowing groups, including veterans to solicit at the stores. So I guess that your church handles visitors better and witnesses to them. My church goes to the veteran’s bar love. Pray for me love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Well as long as no one was harmed, I wonder if he was a Bass fisherman as well. I can guess what a lot of suppers will be along now.

I think the best way to consider the situation would be to remove the Christian and Muslim labels, and to look at it as simply someone threatening to harm or kill a bunch of others, regardless of the motive! Regarding it in that way, it would definitely become a 'police matter.' The motive can be discussed and considered later, hopefully in a courtroom . . .

I would have dialed 911...and got a group to hold him, frisk him for weapons and bombs.waited for the police to deal with. If it was the other way round,,,he would be dead for sure. I am thank ful that you are safe but I am concerned about this man ..nut or for real???? how awful to experience this is your own back yard.

It is neat to read about towns that have big events...That is something about that Muslim. I am not sure what I would have done.

Well, I must say, I don't know what I would have done.  As far as I know, I've never had anyone pray for me to die, or threatened me in any way.  Perhaps I might have invited him into the sanctuary to worship and let God work it out like he did when Saul of Tarsus was killing Christians.

Sounds  like a lot going on there, but I would have called the FBI or CIA and let them handle the 'Muslim', just in case!!!!

I hope you'll have a great bass tournament! As for that prayin' Muslim - appalling, of course, but the guy must have been off his rocker! Mind you, if a Christian had done that at a mosque, he would have have had his throat cut, probably...
