nice to see you again justi...yes the readership as definitely gone down.  blogit does nothing to advertise...so many free blogs out there that i think people prefer free!

Grumble away! You're certainly allowed. As far as readership is concerned, I'm not sure of the cause for the decline either. But you probably should only write when you think you really have something to write about, as opposed to writing just for the sake of writing. We'll be here to read you! I hope your vision problems are resolved quickly and smoothly . . .

Hey ho Justi we must just keep on, I expect LL will be back.Of course it is sad if someone writes and receives no comments, newcomers are not really informed of the real truth. One must interact and I hate to say this, but a nice photograph of when the person was young would encourage the male participants to participate. Not you of course, because we like you as you are .

You didn't offend me at all, I hope I didn't make you feel bad, that was not my intention. I consider you a dear friend.

Things are not like they used to be, are they, on so many levels.   Although, if I had more energy, and a little more desire to do, I think I could half-way keep up.  Of course, my mind slips a cog every now and then and gets stuck for a time, and that doesn't help either.

I suppose I should not have said that but I was not aware you had said that in the first place. I was mostly speaking to one who is leaving because nobody is reading. We can not read and work and live very easily. I apologize if I hurt any one, it was meant to prove a point and I suppose I was just too dull to make the point. I do not count your reads I love them. Forgive me if I offended you.

We all grumble from time to time and it is okay to do so as we all have our days. I read who I can when I can and those who read me and that takes several hours a day. Why should I waist my time reading those who refuse to read me after making several attempts to make friends with them? When I read I always leave a comment or a card, people like that. My time is short, I do not live on Blogit, so when I get no comments in return after several attempts to make friends I move on only stopping by from time to time. Everyone likes to know they are being read, but a very small few who simply post and never read anyone else, most of these folks only get comments from FSI because he so good natured, but it is hard work and time consuming and these things should be rewarded. I have had folks tell me that I should only post one post because it is too much work to read all the posts, but if I do not come close to breaking even here I must leave. Besides, when someone says hello to me it is only good manners to say hello in return. It is why most of us are here and when there is no feed back, no comments, no cards, one might as well post in that old dusty box they keep under the stairs, or in the basement.

As long as you're here, I shall not leave Blogit, lol...And I think FSI made some excellent points...

Re:

Excellent summation of the status. Thank you.

I feel that there is a multitude of reasons in play for there being less bloggers here on Blogit.

1. The economy

2. Blog wars, while increasing entries and interactions, were in the long-run more harmful than good. People got mad and left, or people got banned by the powers that be.

3. We have to factor in bloggers dealing with health problems (i.e. Katray), technical problems (Rumour and CC) along with those in legal situations (i.e. Shelly)

4. Leaving breeds leaving. lustorlove is disappointed in her totals, which resulted from not as many people being on here, and left.

5. Then there the old standbys of writer's block and time.

Justi

So good to have you here and grunble all you like. Prayers for you and George and I'm getting by a day at a time for now. Yes it does seem to me that Blogit may have lost a little somehow, but as long as you, me, Kabu and quite a few others are here, I think it will survive. Thank you for coming to my post and much love to you both.

you write I read and NO darling I don't just go to those who read me...all but a very few I read. I love the blogit community and some of every day is browsing around. Sadly I think it is slowly getting beyond irs sued by date and the blogit people do nothing to upgrade or anything. I think that I will be here though no matter what.

That's okay, Justi. Even your grumbling is a good read!
