Re: Re: I'm thinking it is time that reveals to us the value of things

Maybe it is too close to you for you to find charm in it. But we are the village Elders, as I said somewhere else a day or so ago, and we are the only time machine there is for those who follow, to give them living glimpses of the world before their arrival. And, it is good to share with others, not to be alone with our basket of goodies, and only ourselves to enjoy it.

Re: Kabu

Yes of course it is Kabu but I am doing it to keep my marbles active and reprint it just for

the joy of doing it. Funnily enough I sent this off a few years ago for an assessment It was reviewed as a gentle story which had to draw people in gradually. I only had an old typewriter and really it  was an exercise in escaping. I have not got your fervour. I don't expect or mind if it is not read.

Re: I'm thinking it is time that reveals to us the value of things

Ciel I am just writing or copying this just for a fancy not that I expect folk to read it. I wrote it when I was looking after my Mother with dementia about 600 pages, but I was not very careful about the grammar  it was just an escape into another world that I had known through conversations with village folk.

I've always loved hearing stories of the old times and the old ways and recalling the past.

I'm thinking it is time that reveals to us the value of things

that we might have thought we recognized at the time, but it turns out we remember fondly other things we didn't think were such a big deal.

I was staying in a village in Yorkshire and when I had lunch at the only etery there, even I heard about what I had for lunch by the end of the day!!
