when i researched self publishing i read something about the importance of a cover looking good in minature where it will hopefully be sold on amazon as opposed to it looking good complete book size at a bookstore. i probably won't self publish as i'd hate to have to fork out so much money for a probable flop. i'm just not confident that i could be successful as a real writer.

I just skipped over the progress of the book. Honey I am so sure it will do well. I want to know where and when we can buy it.

I am so sorry your restaurant is falling by the way side. I agree there is never reason to pay for bad food. Good junk food is better than poor gourmet food. Love you two from us.

I always look at the cover art, but it is the author's name that usually

makes me open it. Then I  read a random paragraph, maybe the first one. Will they let you mention your book title and post a little sales blurb here on Blogit?

They say you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but people can't help but do it anyway. It has to be something eye-catching! And that's too bad about the quality of the food at that restaurant, which sounds like it has a wonderful location! Perhaps they are 'between chefs' . . .

One thing I appreciate about the Olympic coverage on tv here is

we can se the Canadian coverage PLUS the rest of the world, of course, on our C.B.C network, or if we want coverage of the U.S. only, we get it on NBC (although they're better this time around).

Kudos to the Canadian womens' hockey team for beating the U.S. 3-2....

Have they put the prices up or just dulling down the  meals . I suppose something has to give. I would make some nice sandwiches and a flask of coffee and enjoy it in the car. Well of course if your book is a raging success you will be able to go up market. I really hope it is.

I enjoy reading reading about your literary journey...Reading your entry reminds me that winter scenes are so beautiful.
