Well I always thought it was a bit dull, but lovely to watch and drowse in a deck chair listening to the bees on a warm afternoon. Of course that was proper cricket.

Okay . . . I think I've got it. But what I believe I would have to do now is, print out those rules/explanations, and have them on-hand while actually watching a game! But being a huge 'Amercian' baseball fan, I have to ask one thing: what were they drinking down there when they came up with this sport . . . ?

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity to catch up on your drinking...
Sit in the bleachers and every time someone goes in, or goes out, or vice versa, sip a bit of tea or single malt Irish whiskey. Two or three innings or outings, and you'll find it all fascinating, all the players valiant competitors and never mind anything else.
