I wouldn't dream of looking in another person's cart but I can be a pest if a little child is asking nicely for some small sweet or toy and getting a NO....I have been known to look the adult in the eye with the saddest I can make myself and the little one mostly gets the treat.

I never bring up to a person what they are buying either. It is not my business.
I have been fortunate when it comes to people not bringing more the allotted number of items to the express lane. However, people crowd them that they forget there are open regular lanes.
