Oops! Mom hitting a deer doesn't sound good, and I'm glad she's okay!

I've never hit a deer, thank goodness, but I came close when I was still working and going home from night shift nursing at 0100 - 0200.

i am so relieved Mum is OK. Deer are like Kangaroos they rush out without warning and can kill themselves...and us.

Although we haven't had any snow for a while either, there's salt all over our cars as well! We need a good rain! And I must admit, I'm pulling for the Seahawks! Sorry . . .

Bang went your chance of a nice venison steak.. I expect the salt had dried from previous exposure, not very encouraging to wash the car if one had to drive home through the slush. A lot of deer on our country roads at night, so Archie says.
