I must be odd too, because I love winter and its snow and cold. However, we are prepared for it and used to it, and I realize how difficult it may seem to those who live in the southern regions. Would a big warm hug help?

thanks for the blessing. i've thought of moving to atlanta so i can be a part of creflo dollars church but i'm too partial to my homeland of iowa. the weather is never boring. spring and fall are the best or so me thinks.

Yeah, things are wild and whacky up here in Jersey too. One day it's 20° and the next it's 50! And now, everything that has melted is going to freeze once more because the temperature is supposed to plummet again! I think there's a monkey at the controls of the weather board somewhere, and boy is he having fun . . .

didnt realize that about your weather I dint think there was too many places that dont get snow. we had one dumping about a month ago but its been darn cold at night

sorry about the loss of all that nice produce! i only have grass, that's hard to kill, lol. and i may take you up on it and drop in on the way south - when i'm allowed to drive again, that is. these days i'm being chauffeured by my lsw in her car, which is convenient, of course, but puts my health and even my life at considerable risk, lol...

so glad that the cold weather has gone away and it is starting to become warmer. Whew! It was so cold in my district that they had to delay school for 2 hours( not that bad, since i live in charlotte, NC).

That is pretty hardy stuff to succumb to frost Justi snow would have protected it no doubt . I remember 47 the pigeons just sat and ate the greens, they were so thin and could hardly flutter away when disturbed. Shame though it is lovely to get those little sprigs of green.
