Poor Naut ((hugs)) - Hope it heals very soon. I shall be joining you in restricted function (self inflicted) - I am having long-overdue surgery on my right foot which has been giving me trouble walking and has put my knee out quite a lot in the past year. I could do nothing, and accept old age, give up our walks etc, or I can have this fixed like the other one 11 years ago. For the sake of six weeks on crutches, and no driving, I'll take the latter option.

I am so sorry your have a broken wrist. That is one of the duties of a LSW to tie shoes etc., what ever you need when you cannot do that. I have been frozen in and did not know about all this. I hope it heals very very quickly. Just between me and you I appreciate the credit you gave the Lord for possibly doing all this which I am sure He did. LOL You get well soon.

I recently spent the night in the hospital as well, seems I have an ulcer (that's what they say) and yes, when I had my radial head removed from my right arm, years ago, I too learned how difficult life can be with just one hand, and of course, when one only has half a brain left, as I do...Well you can imagine.

That does sound like a long day! I hate to bring this up, but one more 'inconvenience' sprang to mind being forced to work with one hand . . . going to the bathroom! Best of luck with that . . .

I'm sorry you've got a busted wing, my friend. I know it's
more that 'a spot of bother.' If I were in the mood to be little merry sunshine I'd say at least it gives you a new appreciation for the challenges faced by handicapped folk, but in truth I'm thinking it's a license to be crotchety.
About those reading materials in the hospital waiting room: don't touch 'em. They're covered with nasty germs from the sick people who were there before you...

Never mind Naut it could have been worse it might have been Ben.
Just sit in a chair and throw your sock over a foot then pull. I expect your Blonde would call you a one armed bandit. Not making light of it Naut, you will get better, that's one good thing. Keep posting.

Thankfully, the Universe has also provided us with velcro.
It won't help you type, but it sure makes the shoe thing easier!
