we had a lovely and loving little Christmas with so much to be thankful for and now we are relaxing before we charge ourselves up to have a relaxed New Year Eve...

Well we survived so it is on for another year soon. When you have a moment Justi could you tell me how you dry your apples. I have a small dryer but it takes a while to do a quantity. I would love to do strawberries but they are a bit juicy.

And still do! Had the whole family in for meals both Christmas day and yesterday, my daughter's birthday. Wonderful time, but much rushing around...and today it's back to work...groan.
Wouldn't change it for the world!! Merry Christmas to you and George!

You've just described our New Year's Eve perfectly. My wife and I will have a wonderful dinner, a few snacks, watch some old movies, stay up as late as possible ( probably til about 12:01 ), give each other a Happy New Year's kiss, and then pass out! Thirty years ago we may have partied well into the New Year's morn'. Now, we'd rather sleep . . .
