I'm sure the critters really appreciate your efforts. And like you said, if the result of your little excursion is wetness, at least you know there's a nice hot shower waiting for you . . .

Raining again we are swearing in the rain feeders are mouldy again, meal worms just lie soggy and wet . Did not feel broody so not much fun in trying to lay eggs , I mean old hens.
