It's pretty amazing sometimes that while one part of the world is experiencing a heat wave, another must endure ice and snow storms. Thus the world we live in, or on!

Kind of a nice reversal, to have the kids picking up the parents
after a party. It's nice to think of swimming pools and sunshine here when the morning is so dark and damp and chilly...

I must have slept through your last post, so I will agree with this one.
I don't think it would feel like Christmas if one was a convict in the past.
I wonder how they made out. Of course we would all have been deported
if they had caught us in the old days. My relatives used to pinch deer
from the forest, but like me they were too cunning to be caught.
I expect Archie would have been on a ship taking three blocks of
wood would have condemned him especially as he pinches apples
off of abandoned trees and wood out of skips to chop up for firewood.
These days many a small deer lie at the roadside casualties of cars.
I would not have happened in my great grand daddies time.

The fun thing... well, one fun thing about talking to folks Downunder
is that you're speaking to someone in the future.

I certainly wouldn't complain about the heat if I could look forward to ten days of sailing on Port Philip Bay...
