My wife and I don't bother with a tree either. Well, not a 'full-sized' tree anyway. A small tree, colorfully adorned, on our TV shelving unit, is more than sufficient. And don't be too hasty to lament! You may still get that call . . .

no, not strange at all. the calls i get from my daughter in california is the most precious gift she gives me, as well as the one from the daughter who lives a few blocks away is. the calls i get from my grandchildren are also the most precious gifts. so, no Kabu, it is not strange at all. Have a wonderful and very Merry Christmas.

I've sent money to everyone this year,
I figure the green in a pretty card pretty much says ho ho ho. Next year I'm going to do all my shopping/wrapping/etc. in October. Or as we go along.

What a cosy little scene, Arthur and me uns are proper Scrooges' Of course it is not so Christmassy looking at mud. Even the Robins are called Robin mud breasts I suppose I shall have to go shopping this morning before everyone goes bonkers. I think I will get up early tomorrow and beat you saying 5 days to Christmas.

Oh that is so beautiful. Oh how I wish I could visit you for a cup of tea this season. I love you and hope it is a grand Christmas. You two are like George and me kids away one way and you two another, but you are together this is the important part they have lives of their own. Hugs and Kisses to you both from both of us....
