Like UtahJay says,let's be thankfull for the simple things in life.
But let us be thankfull mainly for life itself that was given to us by The Great One.Let us thank Him for protecting your dad and the other motorists. Sometimes He allows such mishaps to occur to remind us that we are dependent on Him for absolutely everything. How I hate mouthing such platitudes, but there you are, I am just doing my job, as 'Healer Of the Soul' which is the meaning of the word 'Psychiatrist'.
